Resident in SKCC Hall , PG Hall II , UG Hall I , UG Hall II , UG Hall III and UG Hall IV may follow the steps below for use with the HKUST-Card based air conditioning control system that is installed in his/her room.

 

- Add Value to HKUST Card e-Purse

- Top Up Air-Cond money in your room
After you have deposited money to your HKUST Card, you may charge up the Air-Cond Money on the same card by the on-line "Charge Up Air-Cond Money Service" as follows:

•   Logon to myPortal -> select Admin Info & Services for Students under Home->My Studies->Miscellaneous
•   Select the Charge Up Air-Cond Money option under Campus Services
•   Follow the instruction there to charge up the Air-Cond Money on your HKUST Card.

Smartcard reader is required for this service. Reader-equipped PCs can be found in all Virtual Barn Workstations, all Computer Barns, and on the G/F of the Library.

- Top Up Air-Cond time in your room

After you have charged up the Air-Cond Money on your HKUST Card, you may top up Air-Cond time in your room as follows:

• Insert your HKUST Card into the Air-Cond Control Meter
• Present your card PIN and confirm
• Wait for the notification of Air-Cond time units added
